Got poked by a few of the locals into logging back on this account to see how things were.

Kind of surprised that there is some activity still going on, and this whole site has not become a new layer of decomposing fads on top of forgotten VHS/Beta tapes, and bell bottoms...

Hey, some of us still use LiveJournal... even if it's mostly just for BirthdayJournal in my case.

It still does some things better than FB or Twitter (threading replies, fine access control).

I don't know, I have gotten used to FB and do not see many features that LJ has over it.

I'll admit, I don't post much anywhere any more. Kind of burned out on how much of a cancer most "social media" has become. But there are still some die-hards around. I paid for my Permanent Account, by God. LOL!
