My mom sent me to the liquor store as a teenager, when we were helping my grandmother move. They needed one of those boxes with all of the little partitions and of course liquor stores have a ton of them.
I must admit, I was pretty nervous going in. I think I was 18 at the time, but everyone seemed to think I was about 14. Thankfully, there's no age minimum for boxes ;).
That being said, it seems unlikely that that's why those kids were in there. :P
Oops! This page has been sitting open since last night.
It goes.. a little more slowly and hobbly, but it goes. I just had another ankle surgery, since my ankle hadn't fully healed from the one I had last year. Turns out, the screw was loose. Yes... it's been medically proven now. I had a screw loose! :P
I'm recovering well. The surgery was on the 17th and I started hobbling by the 19th. I'm not supposed to put too much pressure on it yet, so I've been using crutches whenever I leave home, but I can hobble around while I'm here. It's also a good excuse to work from home :).
I just finished up my pre-reqs for grad school, so I'm officially a college graduate (again). Woo! Taking a year off before grad school, though, to get some relevant experience and de-stress a little.
I guess that's the main stuff. I'm not sure the de-stressing has really kicked in yet, but I'm working on it.
