I think Gloomy's "friend" is actually named Petey...it's written as ピテイー (with a little "i") The real story about Gloomy is simple but interesting and funny...a real relationship between a bear and a human WOULD involve the bear mauling the human all the time. Except I don't think real bears do headbutts or deliver knees to the face.

Hehe neko food things...I think attaching oneself to a cute mascot character designed solely to empty your wallet provides a certain kind of comfort in a predominantly uncomfortable situation. <--this statement effectively justifies all the crap I buy.
