ok i have the newest version powerdvd but im not sure if its my computer or what but whenever i put a dvd in it doesnt load the little cd just blinks and when i got to powerdvd and hit like watch from hard drive and i click the e: drive, i think thats the one i should be looking for, it doesnt work, i was trying to cap some tv series stuff but it ( Read more... )

Is the e drive (or d) not showing up at all - like if you were to open something on a disc in what you use to make icons, can you? If you can't, it's a thing that I've had to battle with before. I can give you the link I used - but I had to do something to reverse it later on.

well I have a e drive and a d drive, and then like a local c drive ( sorry i am so confused with all of this stuff ) but when i put a disk into my computer (ive never put a dvd disc in before ) no thing pops up like with my music cds theres stuff liek do you want to listne to or burn and stuff and with the dvd my mouse just blinks and theres a little cd thinking ( lmao i know im retarded ) but when i go to play it from powerDVD it says please insert disk into e: but my disk is already in there, so um yea if your not really confused by now, anything to help? lol

I'd try it from the D drive - and while you've got Powerdvd open click the configuration thing and designate the D drive. That's what I had to do at work. And it eventually... worked. Heh. Otherwise I'd beat it until it worked or were broken. Lol.

lmao, oh Im ready to, Also on my Powerdvd under configuration it says that my cd/dvd drive default is e: and its like locked on, oh also in case you didnt know i was trying to cap angel/&or/buffy episodes from like the dvds will those show up or what
