personally, i refuse to watch American Idol,
but my friend made me watch it the other night.
(he's obsessed with the Vote for the Worst website/campaign)
Sanjaya didn't do a great job with that Bonnie Raitt song.
i thought his voice was too weak for it.
but man, were those bitches just vicious to him and it was totally unneccessary.

I didn't watch the other night, either :( I was asleeping. But yeah, even my mom (who also likes Sanjaya) said she didn't like him singing country. Problem is, not everyone can sing different styles... and as much as I love Jordin and as much as I loved Gina, I wouldn't expect one of them to sing a genre they weren't great in, either. Singers can learn and grow and still stay within their range, SIMON :p

I appreciate the support, because I just couldn't figure out all the hatred and it was part of why I wanted to vote for him. I've always had a soft spot for the underdog.
