I know words are pretty pointless right now, but I wasn't online at all yesterday and wanted to let anyone affected by this tragedy know how I ache for you. Mikenzie, it did me worlds of relief to see you posting (*HUGS*), yet there are so many others who are injured, scared and still waiting for news--more than likely bad. I just hope everyone

That is so sweet of you. And I don't know anyone (other than Mikenzie and Adam, of course) affected by the tragedy but it REALLY bothers me that this horrible thing happened. Since becoming a parent, I've become so much more sensitive to disasters, accidents, etc.. I feel for all the families involved and I'm just crushed. I can't stand to watch the news anymore.

Sigh... our country needs a boost of good news, like... yesterday.

It's so weird to see Minneapolis as a major news story, and tragic that it had to be because of a disaster. Thankfully, no one at work (or their families) seem to have been involved. I bet my brother-in-law is down there, though. (He's a cop with the transportation department) I'll have to call them tonight and check on them.
