I used to be SUCH a frequent, dedicated LJ-er. Now I'm all... bleh--whatever. I have nothing to say, nothing to rant, nothing to babble about
( Read more... )
I was wondering where you ran off to! You should start getting on yahoo again, I tend to be dreadfully bored and lately rather fangirly. (But, you know, the subject changes...) And everyone's been all busy. Ahh

LOL!! I know--I should get a prize for being unreliable. It's my forte ;) Really? YOU?----bored? Doomsday must be nigh! Hee. I'll see if I can find some way to get you out of your boredom here after I grab me some lunch. I don't know why I'm hungry again. It's so frustrating. I'll get full after eating only a few bites and then a couple hours later I'm STARVED. I have the weirdest metabolism. Just thought I'd share that with you

hehe, 'course I love you, dearie. And I don't mind your rambling, it's amusing. Rantage is so much better than people who just sit there like "hm...what to talk about...uh..." hehe. You'll probably like the newest vid as I said, it's all with the epic AU-ness with smut. Short, but it's there. And with the Hoist the Colours with the credit-ness it's all amusing-like. My metabolism is really pretty damn weird, too. I mean, one moment I'm kinda...no appetite what so ever, and then the next I'm like 'WTF? I haven't eaten in 24 hours!' lol. And yes, coffee is gooooood. Or just caffeine in general. Like now, as I have coke in...my random festive glasses! Not that the glasses matter, but hey - apparently it's a new random statement for a couple of my goofy friends and I. Come over and the firt thing "YOu want something to drink in my festive glasses?" "Yes! I want caffeine in your festive glasses...of doom." ...yeah, don't ask. *snickers* I'm finished.
yeah you're normal. very telling the truths normal and holy marie calanders , lucky!jenisatsxfbtvsDecember 10 2007, 22:21:54 UTC
yeah hope the cold goes away soon, I don't like the thanksgiving turkey.. never did, but I did get a green bean cassorle this year..... I love em in place of turkey, and in no way shape or form am i vegiterian..... hehe martha needs to be skewered.... I can think of other celebs that need that too, marthas not tooo bad sometimes just shes a bit excessive....yes shes a demon from the dimenson of..." make everything yourself decorate yourself to you rot inside for all existance unless you do it, " world

Awwww, thanks, hon :) *squishies* And lol... I don't like the cold, either, but I was actually talking about this obnoxious little head cold I've been dealing with since last week! Hee. I've heard great things about that green bean casserole. Never tried one, though. Should make one for Christmas, just to say I have and I can :) I agree--there are plenty of celebs that need to be skewered on Hell's kababs, and the funny thing is that I actually enjoy watching Martha for the most part.... I think I'm fascinated by how perfectionist she is---I could soooooo never be that way and I'm amused by someone who's so concerned with it. Sure she's a monstrous success, but damn the woman gets only 3 hours and 45 minutes of sleep each night (with the light on!) and she's so freaking busy with her company, products, shows, talk about the stress! Which is why I think so much more like Rachael Ray. Good food, enjoy the fam, minimal stress, you screw up--don't worry, just have fun

Perfectly normal? Abolutely NOT!!!camkinDecember 11 2007, 04:06:14 UTC
i love Thanksgiving. A holiday centered on eating...what could be better?! i loves me some turkey, too. white meat is the best...yum! i don't like baked fruit, so no pie for me. and my family doesn't do pumpkin pie, they do sweet potato pie. my brother bought some deliciously awesome pound cake though. surprisingly, there were no fights, but that's probably because i didn't see 1/2 of my family.

I didn't even blink, honey :) Takes a LOT to offend me, and being called abnormal doesn't even come close. Questioning my love for Spike... now THAT might get my feathers rumpled, but I'd just be all "Um... do I know you? 'Cause you certainly don't appear to know ME..."
And you're so right. What's "normal"? I prefer to use the words "special" and "quirky"... and even those can be far-reaching! However, so true that you simply cannot enjoy anything Buffyverse without being at least a little bit of a kook. And darn proud of it :D Let your freak flag fly, baby.
My Thanksgiving? Fifty people, 3 turkeys, 1 ham, 16 or so pies, only a couple of them pumpkin, and me having no adult conversation whatsoever because I'm trying to make sure the kids are behaving and not just eating chocolate, and in sweet baby James' case, trying to get him to eat something, anything, that isn't breastmilk.
I just posted a commenty-like thingy on that there piccie post :) PRETTEH KIDS!!! (how long before that starts getting creepy?)
I'm also still reeling at the whole 3 turkeys, ham, 16 pies and 50 people. And you poor dear having no adult convo. I should have come over and helped you with those darling little rugrats and we could have talked amongst ourselves! Would've been great, no? Plus, wine? COOLIO.
Trying to picture the two of us sloshed out of our minds and giggling about Spike. Now THAT'S a good Thanksgiving :)
