Hahaha, I know what you mean about The New World--I was SO bored until the last third of the movie (nature documentary?), when John Rolfe appeared. Then things started to pick up. It might be partially because there's an old family legend that we're descended from him and Pocahontas. Whenever I mention that movie to people I warn them about the first 2/3rds, LOL!
Lol, there is a Pocohontas monument not too many miles away from where I live. I think the problem for me was so much of the dialogue was mumbled, subtitles might have helped, but I doubt it! ;)
Thanks its better now, I was very ill for about two months with a chest infection and then I caught one of the worst flu bugs of my life, it would have made man flu look like a weakling LOL, but with my other health probs it really took it out of me, much better now. I hope you have been well!
I sort of agree about 'The New World' . It was painfully slow and I do mean painful! The pretty cinematography and Christian Bale made me stay till the end! lol
Yes, Christian Bale is a good actor despite his personality, but then I like Russell Crowe and he is meant to be a bit of asod in real life lol. We have to have our guilty pleasures ;)

Dialogue? What dialogue?!?! THERE WASN'T ANY. Oh--but I'm forgetting the 109857 utterances of "Who are you?". *headdeskslam*
