Whew! I've been working like a mad thing on this all morning. It got a little longer than I'd planned, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Here's the finish of my little two-parter. I hope no one beats me with a shovel. *eyes the exits nervously*

This ending makes me both sad and happy. I feel so bad for Spike, he finally realised he could have done so much with his humanity but now it's too late. And yet I'm happy that Spike & Angelus can be together again.

The senior partners punishing Spike by making him human makes perfect sense. It's not something Spike would have seriously wanted.

I felt the same writing the ending, very sad, but glad the boys could be back together. Spike has always love being a vampire so much, I thought it would follow that he'd have a hard time adjusting to being a human. Though I know it would have happened eventually. The Sr. Partners just picked the perfect way to punish Spike.
