Drabbles

In the past, I rarely read drabbles. They're so short, and just as I'm getting into what's happening, they're over. But for some reason I can't explain, I've been doing a few drabbles at open_on_sunday for the past couple of weeks, and really enjoying it

I am glad you posted these, I love drabbles.

The first one, although traumatic, was my favourite. It was beautifully written, and you conveyed so much with these few words. The destructive, complicated relationship they had and Buffy's desperation and conflicted feelings.

The second had a warm feeling of peace and contentment, what they deserve from their reward, and the in third you painted such a funny picture.

Wonderful work, I really enjoyed these.

I really like the way drabbles make you stretch yourself, pare everything to the bone. When I wrote them, I would sit for a long time debating which words to use, which to cut out. Me, being me, there were always too many words. I'd get the drabble down to 104 or 102 and tear my hair trying to decided how to rework the idea.

I'm thrilled you liked them. Maybe because they're my first, each one feels special.
