Napoleon felt sick, and watching the Russian’s blond brows creep upward didn’t help.
“You can’t be … nervous,” Illya said incredulously. “I’ve seen you face bombs, bullets and zealous megalomaniacs without breaking a sweat.”
“True,” he swallowed, “but I’d prefer to keep this, ah, conversation between us. Did you sweep the room for bugs?”
“Of course. No one will hear your voice or the tread of your large, clumsy feet.”
“Ha-ha.” Napoleon knew his partner was trying to ease the tension, but ... “Okay. Here goes. Seize the day ….” He dropped to his knees and stretched out a shaky hand. “Nice kitty.”
It's always nice when something be it a book, or TV show or something, addresses issues that one has, especially as quite often you think you're the only one who has those issues.
My favourite line of the episode is Spike's "Did we win?" That was the moment he really became 'one of them'.
Gun in hand, Bobby Crocker, stood next to Lieutenant Kojak.
He felt more than a little nervous; sick even. It was his first day at Manhattan South and he didn't want it to be his last. He didn't wasn’t to mess up. He knew how zealous and demanding Kojak could be.
They were waiting to seize or maybe shoot a mass murderer. The suspect was a highly-respected sweep who worked for Manhattan's finest, thus the Chief had ordered them to 'tread carefully'.
He felt Kojak's lips on his ear. "It'll be all right, kid. There's a first time for everything."
“Are you okay? Do you feel sick?” Sigh “I am fine. You needn’t be so zealous, Napoleon.” You can’t blame me for being nervous. Not when Dr. Egret injected you with a serum that causes God-knows-what…” Illya calmly reached up to sweep damp bangs from his forehead. “Tread carefully, my friend. It will not benefit either of us to become overwrought.” “What do you suggest we do?” “Seize the initiative and get out of here. With samples of the serum for our lab.” “How???” Sigh “Must I think of everything, Napoleon? For once…” Illya gasped, then slumped over, unconscious.

Precisely! Sometimes, it's a case of too much too late.

Words to the wise. I'm glad they managed to find common ground eventually and become such great partners.
Good job!

Napoleon is so worried! And he has good reason to be, with Illya soon to be unconscious. Good job!
