1. What is your favorite childhood memory? Making hollyhock dolls with my sister.
2. If you could be reincarnated as anything besides human, who would you want to be? A horse... or a Christmas ornament.
3. If you had to start your life all over, what are three things you would change? I would recognize that being shy doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. I would stand up for myself more. I would learn to love myself a whole lot sooner.
4. If you had to forget everything in your life, except one thing, what would it be? My family.
1 Can't really pick just one. Meeting my first friend. Cats and kittens. Coming home from my aunt & uncle's and finding the living room transformed with a Christmas tree, a fake fireplace that had a fake fire, the house dark except for those Christmas lights (I was probably 5). Lake Arrowhead. Sitting in the sun, reading.
2. House cat. Or maybe a well taken care of horse
3. Pay more attention to my parents, and ask them questions about their lives. Be nicer to my friend L when her father was dying . Make sure I kept hold of my comic book collection, and the paperbacks that were reprints of old pulp stories.
3. Pay more attention to my parents, and ask them questions about their lives.
It's one of those things, isn't it? It's the nature of a kid to take parents for granted, and then you grow up and move on, and only after some years do you look back and wish you could have done things a bit differently.
1) Where to start? I have so many great childhood memories, but I believe the ones that stick out to be the most are when my sister Maddie and I would go with our grandpa and grandma to the local park district. We would explore the woods, the walking trails, and the nature preserve, and we would all spend time outdoors together, and it was beautiful in the winter.
2) Same as you, a well-loved and pampered house cat; they can lounge around, jump from one place to the next in one leap, and be a comfort to the human I live with.
3) If I could, I would change some events, where I have said some hurtful things when I shouldn't have, and to hopefully let people know that I cared about them.
4) My twin sister, Maddie.
5) I do wear a necklace that belonged to my dad, who gave it to me before he passed away, and I've worn it to this day.

Yeah, I had a great childhood filled with happy memories.
I wish I'd asked my folks more questions, too. they were willing to tell, I just wasn't ready to listen.
