1. First time you cooked for someone else?

Like you, it was a Spaghetti dinner for a friend. 1st dinner for "someone" in my new apartment. It was a lot of fun.

2. First time you threw up in someone else's toilet?

Nope. Not yet, anyway.

3. First time you did anything illegal? I was a junior in high school, in Nuremberg, Germany. My friend and I skipped school so we could check out Nuremberg for the day. In one store, we each took a lipstick without paying for it. We actually went back about an hour later and paid for it. There was a lot of guilt. We didn't need to do that, we didn't need, or even want the lipstick. We just wanted to see if we could do it.

4. First time you saw snow/the ocean (whichever is more exotic)?

I was born in Germany and left when I was 3. So snow was the 1st thing I saw. We moved to Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. Not far from the boardwalk. So, I was around both, very early on. As a kid, I loved the snow. The ocean, I very quickly decided I didn't like.

5. First thought when I say " ( ... )

The ocean can be pretty dramatic in San Francisco.

It's not as dramatic as the earthquake!

You were there for an earthquake? That must have been a while ago.

1. Honestly can't remember. I wasn't taught how to cook, so most likely I opened a can or a box out of the freezer for a friend staying over when I was about 16.

2. I don't think I ever have! I've always made it home, except one time when three of us went on a picnic and we each had a bottle of wine. Big mistake for 2 of us... I threw up in the park, right on the 'host's" blanket.

3. I know a couple of friends and I stole a couple of swallows each out of their parent's hard booze cupboard.

4. I grew up in Los Angeles, so the ocean wasn't a strange (although it was awesome) and I could sometimes see snow on the mountains inland, but I was 18 or 19 before I walked in snow and drove in it. I did much better with the driving than the walking- I ended up on my ass a few times.

5. There is this one artist who draws (drew?) these pen and ink critters; seems like he did a comic strip or something. But the critters frequently had a horn like a rhino, only larger. Four legged, overweight, usually looked annoyed.

I made porcupine meatballs for my mother’s boyfriend (parents were divorced) when I was about thirteen.

I don’t remember ever doing that. I did throw up the first time I was on an airplane. I was eight.

The only illegal thing I ever recall doing is briefly holding a “joint” when I was in college. I didn’t have tne nerve to smoke it, tnough. I just passed it on.

I grew up in the midwest, so there was lots of snow. My first view of the ocean, the Pacific, was the same trip when I threw up on the plane.

Luna Lovegood?

That’s me. I can’t remember why I walked into the pantry, but I remember trivia from a book I read two decades ago. 🙂

I've only been drunk twice in my life and that was enough.
