Ok, call me crazy... call me a traitor to Angel... but I *loved* New Amsterdam! The lead was gorgeous and intriguing, the supporting cast, especially his partner, was really good... I just loved it. And it doesn't hurt that it focuses so on New York, my favorite place in the world. I was a really big fan of Highlander, and this borrows elements

I haven't watched it, but I saw the advertisements. I think I'll get my Tivo to catch it for me.

Thanks, hun :) Yeah, it's totally Highlander-esque: he's even got the long black coat, which feels much more Duncan MacLeod than Angel. I understand it's going to have flashbacks every episode too, like Highlander. I'm really looking forward to it.
