Pharmacy error

Found out why last month was so bizarre - the pharmacy tripled the dose on my pain meds at the same time that I started a new muscle relaxant. I was all over the wall - sleeping for days, insomnia, nightmares, crying, terrified of the surgery, anxious, dry mouth, dizzy, even feeling like I couldn't quite breathe - just verklempt

I think I'm gonna actually! Now that I'm back to my normal dose it will take weeks to get to the point where it will really help and drug addiction scares the crap out of me. I keep lowering my dose when I start to get too much tolerance - right now I am past tolerance and my normal dose is like taking an aspirin. I've stayed on the same dosage for 3 years now. Crap! (((hug)) I am so glad you are my friend!!

Wow - you are amazing!! Thank you so much for doing such a huge amount of research. I'll check with legal aid first - we are still working with them to save the house. Yes, I do still live in Tucson - same house for 31 years. It helps so much to have the names of these lawyers!! Thank you!! ***oodles of love and soft puppy hugs**

Yeah, my daughter and her family moved in. They are looking to move out soon - which will be kind of a bummer actually.

I have no advice, so I am so happy to read that there are LJ friends who do have advice and very usable information, too. The Internet rocks! Best of luck with the right medication and I'm sorry that you had to go trough such a horrible month because of such a mistake. Think if they hadn't discovered the mistake! It's horrible.

That's a pretty major mistake, and obviously has and could continue to impact your life very negatively. Definitely should talk to an attorney and find out what your options are.
