I admit I don't know Kerri or Salustra, but I admire you for keeping in touch with them and updating the rest of us, particularly when you have your own difficulties to deal with.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry you're finding out now! I wish I knew what to say. This has been terribly confusing for all of us to say the least.

According to dragonyphoenix, Megan has withdrawn from LJ and is communicating by email to a select few. (I am not among the few, have no idea who they are, and perhaps that's for the best. I've not heard directly from her since before her "death".)

You are so wonderful, RSD! Thanks. It was kind of bizarre, but I'm not judging. I didn't know her all that well but I'm definitely into the 'there are more things Horatio" crowd. Hey, I'm a reiki master. That doesn't make sense to a lot of people.

I hope she feels better - no matter what is going on in other areas she really needs to be taking care of herself. Beyond that - just reiki.

Thank you for your kind remarks but not really wonderful - I've had over a month to process this and I can't claim I was ever as zen about it as you are.

We've all processed this in our own way, and will continue to as more people find out. Your way makes perfect sense to me. I'm sorry I didn't think to notify you! I'd forgotten the two of you had at least collaborated a bit; I should have thought to go down Megan's friends list and make sure everyone knew.

For myself and other people it's been a series of shocks, or retraumatization (on top of the grief we were already experiencing.) I'm dealing much better now, but then again I have RL stuff going on that takes precedence now, thank goodness.

I may well be zen because I didn't really know her - beside the still in shock aspects. But wishing well is also my way of leaving a situation. Whatever is really going on - and I am not sure anyone knows - I am mostly sorry for the people who were hurt by it, and you are one of them. You have always been such a tremendously caring person. So seeing what you have gone through with this bothers me more than the fact this happened.

It's okay - I actually wasn't really coming to the list so I wouldn't have known anyway. I did have a friend notify me, but. I've had some RL - mainly medication issues that have put a halt to - a current halt - to my participation in a writing series. I haven't written anything (professional) in over a decade. I just couldn't take the emotional load from pickamix death. And Kerri's situation, but I know Kerri so that one just hurts in RL too.

I hope your RL stuff is good stuff. Yeah, most people don't know reiki. I approached with a lump of salt on my shoulder. And it actually has an effect on me and

Life is filled with unexplained events. I am far too old to think I know what happened. I only hope for the best for her - and I'm glad she's alive.

I suspect it is - I haven't friended her sister, but I noticed she had a daughter named Anya. Kerri had told me about that but I forgot. It looks like they're out there regularly, as well as some of her friends.
