Hey Lovie *hugs*
Glad to see you had an enjoyable if slightly hectic (or that's how it appears) Christmas holiday lol, I hope your New Year is just as eventful =D.

*hugs you right back*

Nah, that wasn't hectic , that was one of my more sedate Christmases *g*
My NewYear will be even more sedate as I've been unable to bribe anyone to work the night for me *sigh*

Ugh stupid work....I may hate my job but at least they have the decency to give us two weeks off for Christmas vacation.

that sounds fab, I always used to love working the holidays, it got me out of washing the pots and everyone felt sorry for me for no reason :)

::volunteers for very holiday ever::

Except New Year, that isn't allowed. I love New Year :)

You really haven't lived until you've heard a 70 year old called Des tearfully warble 'The Rose' in a misplaced Northern WMC :)

I dun mind working Christmas for the very good reasons you mentioned ...no cooking , and no washing up cos of the 'Awww, she had to work' factor, plus....being plied with coffee , alcohol and chocolate to keep you both awake , happy and out of the kitchen:)

I adore New Years Eve , Shaz always has a party and I can dance to 70s music and wear every glittery thing I own and no one bats an eye ...only this year I failed to notice it falls on a work night *sobs rillyloudly
:(

Glad you had a good Christmas, but this new fangled Monopoly is obviously the work of the devil!

It is ..it is the work of the devil ! I wanted to buy the Old Kent Road for £50 , and had to buy Brick Lane for £600K instead ....and its nigh on impossible to cheat *sigh*

lol...don't blame you in the least for trying to drown out anything remotely 'Westlife' ;)
Sounds like you had a damn good christmas ;)

Its the only thing to do *nods*..it didn't drown him out , but the horror was quickly forgotten :)

It was a perfect Christmas ...had a few drinkies, somebody else cooked , and fisticuffs over a game of Monopoly *happy sigh*

:)
