You all must have heard the squealing when I got Spike the laptop three weeks ago ...at last , no more wailing and gnashing of teeth when I can't get on the interweb because a child or husband is doing trivial things like coursework , or working out just how many old people are still alive needed to make up a bowls team for a club competition * ( Read more... )

I mentioned to John that I'd quite like a wireless keyboard and mouse too, but he went white and said 'I wouldn't bother if I were you ' :)

Apparently, because I used all Ps secret stash of cash to pay the man , and because the new router is silver ,I'm getting fuck all for our 25th wedding anniversary, Christmas, and the next two birthdays :)

it's John ..he's stuck in traffic but will consult his Tom-Tom and see if there's a way round it . I'm thinking how in the fuck is a set of drums going to be able to do that , until I remember that Tom -Tom is a sat nav thing .

i'm happy for V to use the lap top , she actually knows how it works lol...John was slightly horrifinated when I couldn't find the 'on' button :)

It would have been tolerable if it hadn't been mine :)

I'm sure Spike and I will get along famously once I know which buttonses to press ...and if I ever manage get my paws on him long enough *sigh*
