A Very Sad Phone Call

I am feeling really upset at the moment. On Sunday my best friend Ruth rang to tell me her Dad had just passed away. She had just received the call from her Mum and was understandably VERY upset. We only spoke for a moment as both she and I were crying and she was on her way to Stansbury (about a 2 hour drive from Adelaide) to be with her Mum. ( Read more... )

Hey Toy, sorry to hear about this news. Best wishes to Ruth too she must be devastated,

Thanks sweetie *hug* Yeah it does suck doesn't it. He had the cancer 10 years ago and had just gone for his final check up.

Thats a bugger just getting the final check up and that happening Toy. Nope nothing from Mr Stubborn Jim yet. Went to see my #1 mum and dad before # Dad went into hospital for his bladder removed, unfortunately, it didn't go well and just waiting for 'The' call now.

We also had a bereavement on the HMS forum over the weekend with one of the teens dying of unknown causes so it's all very sad over there too.

Cannot wait for new year, really want 2005 to end
