It's okay DeeDee, Tom was my best friend's Dad. I've known him for 21 years so it was a huge shock and a lot of heartache for me.

I'm glad the funeral went off well, or as you say, as well as these things can.

We had a lovely evening reminiscing about Tom's life.

That's the ticket!

At least we have the light evenings now which makes me more inclined to do things

While we are well into our dark, cold nights. It's pretty much black by 5-0 pm now, ugh!

It really was nice PK and as you say, that's the way it should be.

I don't envy you your dark evenings. Mind you the weather here has been unbelievable! We had really bad flooding north of Adelaide last week. Our downpipes were over flowing as they just couldn't cope with the amount of rain. That said, it's going to be 34C tomorrow! Agh!

Oh lord, too hot for me!

We've just hit a cold but gloriously sunny spell, which eases the dark night glums a little.

Tis a tad hot for me too as I'm not used to it yet. It's been cool here for November so will come as a bit of a shock tomorrow!

As odd as it sounds I'm glad the funeral went ok. I hate them, but who would like them? The evening sounded nice reminiscing about Tom's life, just what the family and yourself need.

D, Ruth and I (plus a group of friends) went out Saturday night to see the Led Zep tribute band "The Zep Boys".
Swear I've heard some of thier stuff, think my mate Ian and his now wife brought a CD over with them when they came over to visit last year. Will ask himself if I'm right. Could be wrong (Again lol) Staying up till 7am tsk you dirty stop ups lol
