My brother Gary and I went to see The John Butler Trio on Tuesday night. I swear it was the best $40 I've spent in years, the band absolutely rocked! I must admit that when I had finished work for the day I really didn't feel like going out but I'm so glad I made the effort

Sounds like a fun night. And yay for the sleep afterwards. Pity you can't go gigging more often if it has this affect!

It was great PK. Gary and I made a pact to go and see more bands and we seems to be sticking to it fairly well! The only downside is the deafness and a sore back from standing!

Deafness v fun and sleep.... The deafness wears off, but you remember the fun and you benefit from the sleep. No contest :D

Having fun is definately a great medicine but can you believe that my ears still hurt after 72 hours! Note to self, wear earplugs next time!
