Name; Lieutenant Jane Worth
Age; 37
Personality; Jane is a rather playful individual. Although a little bit mischievous and dorky, he has a far more serious side hidden underneath -mostly seen when he is on assignment or following orders. He's a little bit vain -something he tries to hide but blames on his little sister, and has rather thick skin [he was a boy named Jane in the military academy, how much thicker can you get?] and usually brushes things off with easy nonchalance and laid-back attitude.
He's not a typical flyboy, but he has his moments. Although he does take the 'don't ask, don't tell' to higher levels due to his mutation. He's playful and fun, enjoys a good laugh or prank and has been known to spin a good tale; mostly useful when covering for someone. He's loyal almost to a fault and doesn't believe in leaving anyone behind. Expert marksman and very skilled pilot. He still believes there is nothing better than being in the air.
Background; Jane Worth is the third of four children. His father was an Army man, killed in action when Jane was just four, his little sister born four weeks before their fathers death. As a result, Jane's mother moved them from the Army base and into a small but comfortable house near his grandparents house. Growing up, Jane spent a lot of time around his grandfather, a former pilot for the British RAF, hearing stories about the bombers and flying during the wars. He grew steadily more infatuated with the concept of flying a jet or plane or even just being in a plane.
At sixteen, Jane joined the Air Force, much to his mothers disgust -losing her husband in the Forces left an ill feeling towards them all. But Jane's grandfather fully supported his decision, and this was enough for Jane to work his ass off through the Air Force. Despite a few frictions -mostly because of Jane's playful nature and slightly rebellious edge, Jane did well, not exactly decorated, but well liked and well known for his dedication and focus while serving.
While deployed, Jane's powers made themselves known. During a fire fight, Jane's jet was under fire and took a hit. It was the panic during the crash that triggered the onset of his powers, effectively nailing him to his pilots chair and saving his life following a malfunction with his parachute. After working his way back from behind enemy lines, accompanied by his co-pilot, Jane was questioned for hours following the speculation that he was a mutant.
Facing the possibility of a dishonourable discharge on slightly trumped charges, Jane was given the choice -join Stryker's 'elite' team, or lose everything.
He was deployed to Russia the following week to await the arrival of his new CO.
Powers; Jane has the power to produce bone like spikes from any area of his body. With a conscious thought, he can create any length or size of spike from a certain area and fire it or pull it from his body. Jane tends not to flash off his powers -the likeliness of him being discharged hindering his ability to fully utilise his powers although he is quite skilled in producing narrow, strong bones from his arms and wrists to shoot at the ground, trees or various targets.
Occasionally, the production of bones can prove painful for Jane, especially if under stress or panic, in which case the bones can spurt from almost anywhere and subconsciously. Jane's back is particularly sensitive to the production of bones from his spine.
