That is one of the scariest lyrics I have ever read. Maybe it is or maybe it's not poetic; it may or may not be so lyrical even, but it's a real feeling. Thank god it hasn't happened to me since then... well I'm getting off track. It is the nothing that kills.

Do you ever get the feeling that you want so desperately something worth fighting for that so you simply fight for something not worth your time instead?

I do, and it's more than a feeling.

I want to go on a crusade against slothfulness among the ones I care about, because we only get one shot at youth! We all need something into which we may pour our youthful energy and recklessness so that one day we are afforded pride in our accomplishments or at the very least our endeavours.

Speaking of grandkids I used to love the stories about your crazy-ass grandpa or uncle... you know, "hairpiece," etc.
