In my obsessive checking (not "chequing", which would refer to my bank account, Patrick) of Weather.com I have found that the storm front moving into Las Vegas is slated for one day later each day I look. Translated - it is waiting for me to arrive. Maybe I can get a spot on their local news. I am beside myself with rage.....who was it in

We got a virus (nothing horrid, just irritating) and a hell of a lot of spyware on our computer, so Patrick redid the hard drive. We stopped using Kazaa (which has a TON of spyware and is very susceptible to viruses - virii?) and Internet Explorer. We got Soulseek to replace Kazaa, and the Mozilla Firebird browser to replace IE - it has a built-in popup blocker. Anyway, I have no idea what the virus Jimm has does, or how it gets in, but to avoid more, get him to delete Kazaa at least; that helped us a lot.

Well, it really isn't that the computer is a PC that makes it vulnerable, it's that it has Windows. You can have a PC with the Unix/Linux Operating System, and it will be nigh impenitrable. However, Windows is kind of a necessary evil these days.

And when I invision, "Backdoor Trojan", I think of something COMPLETELY different...though I don't think I'm allowed to explain in detail to my girlfriends mother, so you'll have to use your imagination. Though, I do find that term amusing for different reasons, being that it is redundant, seeing as all Trojans of the computer variety are 'Backdoor' by definition. *snort* Okay, I'm done being a geek now.

You play D & D? Jimm & I actually met playing D&D. We are so not cool. Riley is running his own game - and plays in 2 others - you should call him and get in. We have a long-running game with rotating DM's - Jimm has been the main one for years but there are others. The barbarian icon is actually based on one of my D&D characters. That's how pathetic I am.
