TEGOSHI
I get very fired up with videogames. Since my 3rd year in elementary school. I started playing those games in which you raise your own monsters and fight with them, I liked to play it against my friends. I quite never lose in videogames but I remember I lost against a friend in that game. I was so frustrated that when my friend was away I deleted all his datas. I can still remember my friend crying asking what happened (lol). Looking at him I thought "I'm sorry" inside of myself but I pretended I didn't know. I was truly sorry, let's say it, but I was so angry...this conflict is still with me. I felt remorses but I couldn't say it. The next year I could apologize saying honestly: "Last year it was me who deleted your datas". That game wasn't a trend anymore so my friend just scolded me brightly: "It was you!! (lol)".
[So mean! I'd cry too! (Even if I'm 23 yrs old lol)]
Another thing that gets me fired up is always soccer. Still now, everytime I've got a match. Even during matches with my friends I scold them: "What is this loose play!?". Anyway between team mates we're used to it so we never fight. That's the good side of sports. Even if during the match you see each others as enemies, when it's over you're the usual friends with a common passion.
To achieve your aims is important to not do compromises. When I entered NEWS I wavered everyday. I had to do something to compensate that lack of strenght of mine. Because if I couldn't dance I could do nothing more but practice. When you want to score something it's important to not lose to yourself too. For example, when you're on a diet you can do yourbest if you imagine yourself in a better shape.
I partecipated to "Marching J". Looking at all those people who came there to raise funds I felt an amazing power, it made me think that if things are like this Japan will be ok. On my private life I went to see the soccer charity match
SHIGE
I don't like games. When I'm against somebody obsessed with victory I just give up. Like: "It's ok I lost" (lol). Anyway I still hate to lose. That's why even if I behave like: "Please, go on", inside of myself I'm really frustrated. In other words, I don't play because I don't want to lose...what I just said is really lame (lol).
[Lame but...same here :\]
Moreover I'm no good with team games. For example in soccer, if everybody around me is good and we lose because I'm the only one who can pass the ball well it'd be too bad! All these stuff made me give up completely to team sports. Playing soccer may be all right but absolutely not with Tegoshi. He's good and so serious and we've got the same age...Not only I know I'd lose, I'd also end up completely destroyed mentally and physically.
[Don't do it! D:]
I like to do sports on my own. Like bouldering and fishing. Even though when I catch a fish bigger than Ohno-kun's it's a little awkward (lol). When Ohno-kun catches huge fishes I feel relieved. Of course fishing depends on luck so he doesn't care, he never show a bitter face. Because in fishing there aren't winners or losers. There's only the feeling of winning against the fishes. In those moments I get fired up. When they escape I feel frustrated. I think: "Stupid Shige!" (lol)
[I think there's a lame pun in that "stupid Shige" but I don't get it (Shigettara baka). Sorry lol]
The challenge that impressed me more was the one with steel pans during 24hTV. I really fought there! At first it was amusing but the training to be able to play it for real on a stage was very very difficult. I practiced so much that I was about to hate it for real. I was moved when I could overcome it. That's why I cried during the show. It was something I really didn't want to do that's why I thought: "I can't escape from it!" (lol).
I will work with Joshima-kun for the butai. The content is the one of a comedy. I wish that people who will come to see it will laugh. It's a work I want people to watch, expecially in a moment like this.
YAMAPI
I get fired with competitions. In things like free throws showdowns I don't ever wanna lose. I played that a lot with the other actors during the filming of Buzzer Beat (lol). I got fired up expecially against Itou Hideaki-san. Who lost had to treat everybody a juice, and something like that. Well, I didn't take it seriously, it was just fun.
Recently there's nothing that gets me fired up in my private life but when I talk with friends I'm very passionate. When we hear something and I think "It's like this!" but my friends say "You're wrong", I won't absolutely give up. In those cases I go to search on internet (lol). But if I find out I'm wrong I apologize immediately. But there are also times in which the answer is not clear, right? Well, then I think: "I think like that so it must be right" (lol). I'm a very annoying type.
[I find funny that Yamapi used in this lines なう Does he use Twitter? XD]
Right now I think that it's important to find myself without comparing me with the others. If you compare yourself to other people you'll never be satisfied. Isn't this sad? It just goes on forever. Firstly we have to understand ourselves and then we must come to like ourselves too. What to do when you don't want to lose at any costs? For example when I had an exam I needed to pass absolutely I studied as much as possible. You can't know if you succeed or not as long as you don't try. If you don't start doing things by yourself they won't begin on their own. "As much as possible" is a feeling I want to keep inside of me.
[Amen]
I'm always passionate with work. During the concerts I'm always fired up, except during MCs. Because I'm always super nervous during them (lol). Right now I'm doing my solo tour, when I see everybody's smiling faces from the stage I'm glad I do this job. Because I'm happy if I can make happy somebody else. I have some time to spend for my private life too, when I'm off I basically slack off. I went to the movies and I watched "Kickass", it was amusing!
MASSU
Recently I played darts with 6 boys. We battled getting over-excited for more than 3 hours (lol). I'm the type who gets fired up for games. During elementary school I loved to play dodgeball. I gathered a team and we also partecipated to a big match in my home country. The team's name was "Masters". Of course the origin was "Masuda" (lol). The results...my friends say it was a victory but I can't remember well, I'm pretty sure we arrived 2nd though? The other teams were so good! They could score from a No-look throw (Throwing the ball without looking to the other players). Even if they were only elementary schooler they could catch normally a strong ball thrown by middle school guys, they were all so cool (lol). At those times I played a city tournment of soccer too, I always loved sports.
Right now I'm fired up about arm wrestling. If you want to try I'll win for sure! Anyway if I'm against somebody who knows more about it, who knows the tricksm of course I'd lose. I still don't know the tricks but if I battle against somebody of my size I don't want to lose.
Just now I'm playing darts with Koyama with this machine you have for the shootings. I don't want to lose! (lol) I guess I don't like to compete against people. If I'm playing with people at my same level I don't care if I end in the last position, I just want to distinguish myself (lol). Anyway in a situation in which I must battle I'd do my best to be the first one. When you think that you can't lose the important thing is to stay yourself and to be satisfied of what you did. If you want to be the best one you must work hard.
Finally the weather is warmer, right? Some days ago the weather forecast said that "There was a Spring-like temperature" so I went out wearing only a shirt. But when the night came it was so cold! That's why for me it's not Spring yet. As long as the weather will be a little warmen I won't recognize this as Spring! (lol)
[This made me laugh XD]
RYO
I really suck at darts~ Once I used to play it with my friends but recently we don't do that at all. Only when I was drunk so~metimes I felt like playing. Because I don't enjoy playing something in which I'm not good and where I can't win (lol). Basically I hate to lose so I get fired up about games. I can also go on losing 10 times because I want to win, once I win 1 single time I stop. I don't think that I must compensate with 10 victories. If I win once I feel satisfied. The gap between my moments of fighting spirit and the moments without it is scary. Sometimes I go "I don't want to lose!" and others "Well, who cares". Time, objectives, measure, there are many things connected to it but I don't know the reason to it. Ah, but when I'm at a crosswalk waiting for the traffic lights I always want to be the first of the raw. This is just instictive (lol). Anyway I don't like those guys who hates to lose and are bad losers (lol). Sometimes it's important to recognize you lost too.
[Ryo is always so...Ryo :D]
In the variety shows I play many games and do projects but my scores aren't neither good or bad (lol). I'm not too strong to pressure, I have my strenghts and weaknesses. If I have to choose one, I'd say that I prefer individual games to team ones. If it's a match between me and another person I can take my whole responsibilities. Anyway I don't win too much at those kind of games too (lol).
Sometimes I play soccer with Murakami-kun and the others but really, it's ok as long as we all run for the ball being noisy. I don't care about victory.
Long time ago I went with Kanjani8 to play bowling. We parted in two teams: the 3 older members against the 4 younger ones. That time I was on a good shape and I won doing 7 strikes in turn. We were all fired up and our team was very happy but the other 3 were truly mad (lol). If I'll go to play bowling with NEWS I won't lose!!
[I'd so want you to hung out together *pouts*]
KOYAMA
I was the captain of the junior baseball team. Once I was drawn out to play a match in the Kanagawa's stadium too. Playing a match in a stadium was my dream. Just talking about it I go back into the mood of that time. I was so happy that I was nervous since the day before (lol). The result was a 1-time gold defeat. Anyway the emotion of playing there was bigger than the shock of the defeat.
A game that gets me fired recently? Just now I was playing darts with Massu here (lol). I'm pretty into bowling, darts and pool. Anyway there's always somebody playing more seriously than me. I just wish that people who really want to win will come to the end of the game still in a good mood. Only like this the day is spent quietly. That's why I wouldn't refuse to lose in such a situation. I don't really like competitions anyway, I don't want to see the others as my enemies. If I win maybe somebody will feel hurt? If it's like this I prefer to live in a world where I win fighting against myself. Basically I hate fights too. The time spent fighting is wasted. Because everything can be solved talking.
[So wise :°> And yes, excuse me but at his turn I got tired and my English skills went away XD]
At work I face challenges but just because I do this job I dare to say that I try to not want to win against the others. Everybody is different, I am who I am, if I don't think in this way I'll never see an end. Anyway as NEWS we feel that we don't want to lose to other groups. The most important thing anyway is to win against yourself.
Recently I read one hour before sleeping. I'm hooked until the very end to Higashino Keigo's novels. I started to read when "News every." began, 4 months more and it will be a year ago. Reading I memorize words and I extend my knowledge. It's connected to my job too. Right now reading is my way of relaxing more than study.
