Wanting to go on a trip before the play I went to Kanazawa. One of the reasons was that a friend of mine lives there, but I also wanted to taste the regional cuisine and see the art museum on its 21st anniversary. I expecially had big expectations to visit the museum. There still were cherry blossoms in Kenroku park and there was a nice wind. There, I walked to the museum. The appereances are so cool and stilish. Around it there are some art pieces here and there. Wah! I'm so excited! ...Eh? It's such an exciting and famous place but there aren't many people...Nah, there is somebody...eh? They are modificating the display of the art pieces today so it's possibile to visit only a part of the museum...EHH!!! A single narrow part! I couldn't even see the permanent exhibitions...What a timing. Just when I decided to come here, it's amazing. No, it's the way of thinking. It's nothing, I'll be satisfied with the art of the place...that's impossible, isn't it? While I was still in Kanazawa I decided that I must come back there once again.
[Here it is again, Shige's curse to always go to places at the wrong time >_> Last week I was hit by it too, I went to a library to borrow an important book and...it was borrowed by someone else just the evening before!! TOT Damn Shige!]
Thanks to the trip to Kanazawa now I'm doing my best with the play's rehearsals. Surrounded by the lovely staff, Joshima-san and the other actors, I'm spending full days. Two years ago I was in a play, with a different character, honestly it feels like this is my first experience again, everyday I must study and I have this feeling. I fail too. This is what rehearsals are for. At first the director had to warn me, I couldn't express feelings well with my face, I put too energy and did many useless movements, expecially I tended to use only my arms. He said: "Nari. People don't usually move their arms that much. Try to act using your whole body", saying this the director's arms...he was moving them a lot! This is more than normal gestures!! It seemed that it was the arms actually speaking. His words and acts were so contradictory that I laughed loud. He blushed and replied: "I'm the only one who moves like this!!". A play built in such a friendly atmosphere will be surely appreciated, please come to see if I'll use too many gestures or not! Please!!
