SHIGE
When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
On the opposite I feel more nervous when I'm in front of a fine little pubblic than a big mass. Like when during Junior school I had something like a song test. Or the high speed practice to take the driving licence. There, there were other people other than me in the car. The guy before me went on stall and stopped. There I thought "Good! Now I'll fail like that too!" (lol). But fortunately I passed at the first try. I tried to drive in the mood: "Hey who do you think I am?" (lol).
[I so don't wanna take the licence .-. I'll use that tecnique too now lol]
When you're walking on the street and you meet somebody you know, do you realize it immediately or not?
I notice it! Once I also saw Yamashita-kun entering a Conbini. Once I was eating outside and there was a wrestler from my favourite group and I said loud without thinking: "Ehhhh!! Isn't that OO!" directly to him but then I called him using the onorific language with some kind of tension (lol). Like if somebody who likes NEWS enters a shop and there she finds all the members...it was an event like this. I couldn't hold my excitement (lol). Then, I'm great at discovering maniac people. Like the showbiz people who aren't still famous in all the country. In those cases I realize how much I am a "TV child".

I already wrote about it on my jweb, the people from the drama discovered my diary. I didn't want them to know about it. I always wrote about funny things happened during the filming or my fails that made the staff laugh but if they read it they would say: "That guy's so persistent!" (lol). Even if they told me "Kato-san, your writings are so amusing!" it's soooo difficult to write now (lol)! So, please, forget about the existence of my jweb (lol).

Some member's action you catched recently
I already talked about it on Photoshigenic and on the jweb but recently there was a meeting with the guys of Kinpachi Sensei. There everybody received the things that Massu said very lively. It wasn't because of his well known "sliding humour" but they said "Massu never changes, he's always funny"!
Everybody are so experienced in life that they can't just be satisfied with normal humour...they'd like some kind of sophisticated humour...thinking like this I felt a little unease (lol).

When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
I think it was at the day nursery already. During the plays I used to do all the roles...what a precocious pride (lol). Ah but the main character in "The King's ears are donkey's ears" isn't it a minister? In that case I left an hole for the minister role and I played the role of the King. Now I notice that I always wanted to do the main role (lol). When I was older I entered the Jimusho and my first debut on stage was at Kinki Kids' concert. All those girls screaming "Kyaaaaah", I thought "Cool!". Now I'm in the position to be the one they scream for but the fan service still embarrass me and I barely introduce myself. When I look to Tegoshi, he can say so naturally "I love you!". To me it's impossible! Too too much embarrassing (lol)!

I do! And when I do I immediately call them with loud voice (lol). When I was filming "Ryuusei no kizuna" with Ninomiya-kun I saw Shimoda Kageki-san. It was around 3 a.m. I remember that me and Ninomiya-kun were so excited (lol)

Recently I went with 7 friends to a theme park, we all bought a pirate-like bandana in the shop and we went around wearing it, we caught really the attention (lol). When I go to that theme park I always go to the shop and buy a character cap. Going there is so funny. But that day it was full of people so even if we were on cosplay, we could ride only one attraction and then we came back home.

Some member's action you catched recently
I met Pi after many time recently. Now he's very busy with the movie filming so lately we couldn't meet. Then some time ago I was out with my friends and I met tegoshi. As I said before, when I saw him I said in a loud voice "Oi Tegoshi! What are you doing!" (lol). He was of course surprised: "Ohh Nishikido-kun!" because I really shouted (lol). Then we talked a little. He was wearing a cap so it wasn't so easy to recognize him (lol).
[Ihihih maybe Tegoshi was with his girlfriend and that's why Ryo was so annoying and bothersome XDD]
KOYAMA
When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
Since NEWS had a concert at the Tokyo Dome. There isn't something bigger than that. I think that thanks to it I won't have any problems even at my wedding's speech (lol). Another time when I was shocked by the big number of people was at the auditions. We were around 300 and I thought: "I will never pass". There were also Yokoo-chan from Kis-My-Ft and Nikaido. Of course I couldn't dance at all and I went there asking to the teacher "How can I dance?". Maybe I passed for my willingness.

I do it a lot. It seems that Massu once saw me, it seems he said: "There was a cool guy walking before me...and it was Koyama!" but then he added: "Looking at Koyama from 50 m of distance makes him look cooler!" (lol). Maybe he's right, that is the distance from the stage and the first seats too (lol)

I went to see a festival in Naganoken for "news every.", meeting the people there for the first time made me quite nervous. It went also on air, there were so many voices around me like "His voice is so low!". It's a festival that is held only once every 7 years and I could sense the union of the people, I felt like I couldn't be part of that atmosphere. But in reality everyone was so warm. I experienced a wonderful kind of comunication.
Some member's action you catched recently
Me and Tegoshi go to the same beauty salon so we meet from time to time. Even if we're member of the same group somehow meeting him in such a place is weird (lol). The employer of the salon is the same too so even if we don't meet he always informs me about Tegoshi's latest hairstyle. He told me that Tegoshi said to him: "I want a perm, then, do whatever you like", he's so loose with his requests.
Then, it's not a member but some time ago I met accidentally on the Shinkansen my co-star in the drama "Hanayome wa Yakudoshi!" Iwashita Shima-san. I was thinking: "What a beautiful person" and then I noticed "Oh it's Iwashita-san!". I called her and she was very surprised.
MASSU
When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
I think I'm still not used to it. I'm even nervous when I go to karaoke with friends (lol). It's kinda difficult to know how much efforts you have to put in singing at karaoke. You can't sing with the excitement you sing during concerts, right? So usually I sit and sing trying to follow the atmosphere. Then my friends added to the list "Miso Soup" and say: "I'll sing the lowest parts, sing the high ones" and we become OOMasu (lol). I know that my performances are better if I feel nervous, it's necessary to me, so maybe it's good that I'm still not used to it.

I usually notice people but I also get recognized often. It wasn't an accidentally meeting but the ones that I met and was excited about were SMAP. I was still a Jr and I was in the big dressing room. Then suddenly I felt like a shock wave in the air. I looked behind me and there they were. It took me some seconds to realize they were SMAP but I was really surprised by their aura!

Some time ago I was on the Shinkansen and I was listening to music with the headphones at a really high volume all excited. Then it came the manager and he was pointing to my ears. I took them off and I realized that they were really high. It was for a short time but I disturbed the people around me.
Some member's action you catched recently
After TegoMasu's concert I was taking a shower. I prepared the mat near to my feet and I was very very serious trying to not wet the pavement. But when I went off from the shower I noticed the footprints of Tegoshi who showered before me, they went on and on like if a water man passed (lol). I felt kinda alone, we are so different! (lol)
[Ahahahah poor Massu, he's surrounded by such untide guys XD].
YAMAPI
When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
I was fine with it since the beginning. And I was still a child. But when I sang at the Tokyo Dome with NEWS I was scared the same. In front of all those people, people who came only for us...it was moving, the only sight of it was a shock. Only people on stage are able to see such a scene, right? I felt "Cool, I'm so happy that I have this opportunity". Except that, I'm used to perform on stage in front of many people. But it's still embarrassing to rewatch it with family or friends on tv (lol). Jin called me and during the conversation he said "Ah, here you are in tv", somehow I blushed (lol).

When you're walking on the street and you meet somebody you know, do you realize it immediately or not?
Basically I don't meet anybody. Or maybe it's because it's not easy to recognize me (lol). But some time ago I was on the Shinkansen, I looked to the seats behind me and there was Antonio Inoki-san. I felt secretly excited (lol).

On trains there are many people who fall asleep and then get down of it in panic, right? It happens to me pretty often too. But not because I fall asleep. It's because when I finally notice the stops I already passed mine of 2-3 stops (lol). But in those cases I don't go in panic at all. I just hasten saying "Uwaaa!", it can't be helped. So I don't catch too much attention.
Some member's action you catched recently
Looking at Koyama who is still studying sign language I thought: "He's great". He started it because of 24hTV and now he also passed the exams. Talking about all the members, recently I felt the desire to gather everybody to dance together. So before the recording of a music show we collected a little earlier and we practiced many times together. Watching the show at home I saw that we were really good. I sent to Shige an email "You did good!". I'm not one who talks constantly, I'm the type who express his thoughts only once in half year. I'm happy that NEWS became more mature even if only a little bit.

TEGOSHI
When did you started to be used to many people watching you?
When was it...I think when I noticed it. At first I never wanted to check my singing figure on the monitor. Now I got used to it but I still feel unease thinking of people watching me in the dramas. Expecially during kiss scenes, if I'm watching it with my parents it's the worst (lol). In the past I watched "Gachibaka!" with my parents and I went to the toilet at the very right moment (lol). Since I've done "Yamato Nadeshiko" the requests "Talk like Yukinojo!" are a lot. In those cases I can only say "Kowaii!" like him, nothing more (lol).

I do. Eh? Nishikido-kun said he met me? Right right....Ah yes! Can I send him a mail? I was reading the last Winkup and he said "My phone is gone, NEWS members can you send me your contacts?" (lol). Right, I accidentally met Nishikido-kun. Some time ago me, Nishikido-kun and Akanishi-kun talked a little.

If it's about be noticed by people, right now we're doing TegoMasu tour so it would be this. Eh? If I slipped on the MC? Basically the word "to slip" doesn't exist in my own dictionary (lol). No matter what I do, my heart never wavers. Massu did it at Osaka. At the Tokyo Dome there were 55000 people in silence, it was great, that silence. It was like you would have been able to hear the sound of a door bell of some far away house (lol). The concert, included that moment, was funny. I could also play my favourite instrument and no matter how many times I do it, the results are always different. I'm happy if the people who came had fun.

Of course it'd be Massu. After eating so much at dinner he wanted to go to eat ramen, it shocked me. Massu really has a potential (lol). I think that Massu is the member I understand better but he still has powers I don't know.
