Microsoft Word spellcheck rides again!

I'd say this gives you an idea of how old my computer is, but there's really no excuse.

The stumper this time? "Blogger." (I know, it's meta to post about this. Hush.)

Suggested matches:
- logger
- flogger
- boggier
- Bolger

(Bolger, in case you're wondering, was the prime minister of New Zealand from 1990 to 1997.)

Back in college, I was writing a paper that mentioned antipornography feminism. Word was perplexed. Perhaps I meant "ant pornography"?

I'm currently using OpenOffice, which has a nifty fill-in-the-word-it-thinks-you're-going-to-type-based-on-words-you-type-a-lot feature. Ever since chapter two of my thesis, this feature has helpfully stepped in every time I try to type the word "mother" (fairly often, when writing YA fiction) and emended it to "motherfucker." Thanks, computer programs.

Did I ever tell you about the time the local paper did a story about our high school newspaper, ran spell check and I came up as Sam Carsick?
