Yesterday, I almost got a dog. And by that, I mean there was a pitbull puppy hanging around on campus without a collar that was adorable and fun and cute and I wanted it. But it was clear that he had not come from a good home. He got scared when people stood over him, and he never made a noise once. Not a bark, not a noise when he was playing

Was it a no-kill shelter? Because it will be given 3 days max to find a home and then euthanized if no one adopts it :(
