Yesterday morning I spent a happy five minutes imagining the venerable mayor of Londontown releasing an album of Smiths covers under the name Borrissey.

Suddenly it all makes sense! He's just using the mayorship to launch a music career. He'll be the William Shatner of our time.

I've been lurking atime but eventually could keep quiet no longer. I'll probably end up in another job almost immediately where LiveJournal is blocked (it's meant to be blocked here but somehow shrugged it off).
