Farewell
Life is changing at a whirlwind speed for me right now. I'm learning how to really enjoy my own company and becoming physically and psychologically healthier by eliminating toxic influences from my life. This transition has lead to a number of personal epiphanes... and subsequent decisions, the most pertinent being my retirement from [public] LiveJournal.
Maybe I don't need the same validation I once did, I'm not sure. I've never been a particularly private person, so I really believe this is more of a personal maturity thing than anything else. You have to move on from most things at some point. I've met some amazing people through this little portal of life and the value of the entries I've saved over the last five years (!!) is invaluable. But I'm ready to go.
Because I believe in bringing everything full circle and also because 5 is my lucky number, my last public journal will be on May 28 -- exactly five years after my first one.
So I have one request from you all. Use this entry to ask me any question, no matter how personal or inappropriate, you want to know before I bounce. I'm turning off IP tracking, so you can reply anonymously. I'm also screening the comments so I'll be the only person who has record of the questions. On May 28, I'll make a final public entry answering all the questions to the best of my ability.
I'm not deleting the journal. I'll still be making private entries for myself and will still check and comment on my friends pages. But this is your last nosey-ass chance to find out what you fancy about me. :)
