Theis title: Bread is Civilization. Think about it, it is semi plausable and you could also mention beer as it is basically liquid bread. Why are we better than monkies, because we have bread and they eat bugs off of each other.

It can be hard to think about good history topics that haven't been done to death. There is always profiling the impact of an individual or something.
