ITP - Rainy Forest

The rain came down steadily. He leaned against the tree, letting the water soak into his clothes in distaste. Not like any dream he has been in,yet it was still a dream in nature. He brushed some of the stray droplets off his face, the trunk of the tree cutting into his back, too real, too rough for his liking. Staying in one place bothered him and ( Read more... )

The slow blurring and melting of the darkness did startle Kakyou slightly as his eyebrow carefully arched the tiniest fraction. The shoji he'd been resting upon was replaced with a wisteria tree while the slight ripples that stirred with his few movements were replaced with a light cascade of blossoms. He stirred quietly, his eyes catching the presence of a pale, thin man draped heavily under a large heavy kimono that looked several sizes too big for him. What had really caught his attention was the long, blond hair that seem to fall over the man's eyes and face, like a shadowy veil. Then the paranoia set in and he stood up to glare at the man from a distance. Kamui had never seen him before and that made him all the more suspicious. His teeth set on edge and his hands twitch with the faint burns of his power.

To the barest degrees, the confusion lifted. He'd seen the dreams of this Kamui a few times before yet was surprised that he'd been pulled there, he'd always entered of his own violation, and even what the boy was dreaming about. Something was different, something was outside of his dreams of the future, and the tension in the boy had Kakyou curling his fingers in the fabric of his sleeves.

"Kamui. . . Did you call me?" he softly asked.

He twitched at the sound of his name, his brow creasing in confusion. Call him? Who was he and why would Kamui call him? The sound of his name was reassuring, but his fingers still felt tense and raw, waiting for an excuse for the other man to slip up.

Kamui finally simply crossed his arms together in a defensive position and replied, "I have no idea who you are or why I would call you."
