How 'bout O-Bar? (http://www.obarrestaurant.com/) & maybe even 6:30p if you can make it. There's valet but there's also public parking (cheaper) about 2 blocks down on Santa Monica & King.

Their cocktails & desserts are wicked (and food's good too.)

Other places in the area I like are Lola's (www.lolasla.com) & Basix (www.basixcafe.com) so lemme know what works! :)
