So, here I am for the "more thought out critique." Can you handle it?!

First off, let me say that your RPing for GX has really improved. You're still going off of Rule of Cool, but not as ridiculously as you had been before. Your characters are a lot more consistent and understandable as a result... Even Zaniah's improved, and she used to be your deepest cast member! Keep up the good work.

My previous assessment of "Ed needs to do more!" still stands. Zaniah, Eon, and Lila are all at perfectly fine points in the RP right now... Ed is still missing "something." There are lots of things you and I do for him, and you and I care about the little guy a lot, but... I'm not sure everyone else does, and that could be a problem. Part of this is probably due to the fact that "Ed is the real Spell Seal holder" didn't come about until recently. Not entirely your fault, there! But now that it's out there, he should definitely get the kind of attention Zaniah got. The skip could be a good opportunity for that, so think about it fully!

Joan, Shouri, Kurochi, Victoria aand Diana. I think that's all I have. If I can't remember they probably don't really matter.

For me, your cast is divided up like so: Joan and Shouri are your primary characters, Kurochi is a secondary character, and Victoria and Diana are up at the front, but that isn't going to necessarily last long as their story seems to be coming to a close. I might have misinterpreted something from the planning thread concerning the royalty, though.

First, I'm glad to see your characters are actually starting to appear! Even if it is just Shouri, and even if it's just because of the Rider thing, it's good to see them. I'll admit that I'd like to see Joan more than Shouri, but if the muse is stronger for him then that's just how it is. (I don't really have any critique for him at this time.) She could kind of stand to branch out from Uria Orange and Red... my suggestion for that could be to toss her at Miru and see what happens. If not that, it's been ages since she's spoken to Eon ( ... )

The only reason I haven't really done more with Joan is I'm not really sure what to do with her anymore. I need to develop her past the whole complete failure thing, but I haven't been able to find a way to work it into the story right now. If all else fails I can have some off screen character development during the timeskip.

Throwing her at Miru is a good idea though, hero girls gotta stick together.

Diana's staying around, her sister dying and her not being able to do anything is gonna slap a lot of humility on her and make her maybe grow a personality aspect other than "I'm a pretty princess everyone else is a dumb peasant." so she can actually start some CR with the rest of the Teen Angst Squad.

Note that I'm going to lobby for us having some stories done during the skip, so you could also do it on screen, too. Joan having to dress up and be a hero to fit into Hero Land could be darn good for her if you can get some folks to play other Heroes.

slashlives (I expect to hear a ton of "duel more!" and "fight more!" but, hey, if it needs to be said then by all means.)

Characters: Mylene Batolli (girlgadgeteer), Ren Ikuhara (gokiren), and Lily Sakuma (amesuishou). I have more, but these are my three main characters, so I... care about them more than those other guys. (Sorry, guys!)
