I know exactly how you feel. I have had only a handful of really good friends in my life and somehow they all end up becoming too judgemental of me. And then I drift my own way. I am also very unique and have never fit into "one" group and if I tried I felt like I was lying to myself and not being me. Right now in my life it seems Maria (my gf) is the only realy friend I have that accepts me for me but I need other friends too. Real, true friends are very hard to find. I never really grasped how you make friends once high school/college is over. Its like where?

Where are you from? As crazy as it sounds I have actually made some really great friends online whether its lj or myspace. You have to be careful but I feel like I know these people better then any random stranger I would meet at a bar or something. YOu actually can take the time to make sure you have things in common and get along before hanging out offline. Just a suggestion.

Hope you find something fun and interesting to intrigue you this weekend! :-)

It is hard to make friends after school is done. At my job I have ppl that I do talk to and everything, but they all have boyfriends and kids and husbands and don't really have time for me.

I live in a very small town in Maryland. There is nothing to do here which also makes it very hard. I'm just wishing and hoping and praying that everthing with turn out good.
