The Library of Halexandria

this site is intriguing, although as far as accuracy goes it seems pretty shaky...
an interesting project, to try to synthesize all branches of knowledge, one that i personally take on in regard to everything i learn, but the amount of out-and-out speculation - well, i suppose that's all much of it can be, but i really ( Read more... )

Mama and I talked about this once (remember mama the witch).

"its not the end of the world, its just the end of this phase of existance. There's alot of beleif that people will be reverted to their 'true' forms."

Meaning that magick comes back then, or some such. There's thoughts that the myths, like the Mabignon and the Fairee tales from the isles etc... aren't so muc stories, but altered histories, where once people DID live amongst the Fae, and did have the ability to walk between worlds, and we lost it over time. Slowly its been returning and there's supposed to be a BIG change then, but it will progress up until then...

I hope i turn into an elf. How cool would that be ;-P

A don't have a calender, but there is no end, the beginning of end of the life we have known will be Dec 7th, 2012. The truth is nothing really ends, just are preception of what is or was life will change that is the big change. and the day to decide if we keep going or if it changes will be on Dec. 7th 2012. If you want to more ask. It's always hard to explain what I know, but if you want to know I'll try.

some theories say that we'll be sucked into a black hole on 2012. some say that it's an alteration of our consiousness. others say that it'll be a shift from 3 to 4 dimensions, giving us the ability to move through time as well as space. humans are evolving, they say, and the indigos are populating the world by the millions to aid in the "great shift". i believe in the shift. do a google search for indigos if you haven't already.

also, the importance on the mayan date was based on the fact that the mayans had and still have the most sophisticated calendars ever made. they were able to predict things with astrology and to see things in the stars that we still can't understand - they had calendars based on the orbit of all the planets and some stars, and we still haven't "decoded" many of them. there may be only one calendar, but i think it's safe to say that the mayans knew something that we do not know. or something that we have forgotten, and are going to be reminded of in a very non-gentle way.
