“Reita!~” Uruha sang as he scuttled into the room-stopping in front of the couch Reita was seated on.
“Yes, Uru?” Reita questioned, closing his magazine and setting it on the table next to the couch.
Uruha waggled a small bottle of nail varnish in front of Reita’s face, simply asking, “Please?”
“What?! Are you joking?” Reita asked, startled that Uruha expected his help with this matter.
“No! Please, Rei? Please?” he asked, shaking the bottle more fiercely in front of Reita.
“Alright, fine,” he complied as he turned in his seat to face Uruha, taking the small bottle from Uruha’s grasp. Uruha expressed his thanks to Reita with a bright grin as he sat next to him on the couch, placing his palms on Reita’s thighs. Reita shook the varnish steadily, finally unscrewing the top and swishing the brush around inside the bottle before scraping its bristles along the edge of the bottle’s opening. Reita placed the nail varnish bottle on the table next to him. He gently lifted one of Uruha’s hands, the fingers curling delicately as Reita applied the brush to Uruha’s nails.
Uruha’s cheeks flushed with happiness as he observed Reita’s facial expression. The tip of Reita’s tongue poked out of the corner of his mouth as his eyes squinted with concentration. “You’re so cute, Reita,” Uruha said breathily, sighing with contentment as he continued observing Reita. Looking up briefly at Uruha, Reita smiled slightly before returning his attention to his task. “…So warm…” Uruha commented absentmindedly-referring to the feel of Reita’s skin against his fingers-as his shoulders slumped in his pleasant daze.
Reita carefully placed Uruha’s hand on top of Uruha’s thigh and then reached for the hand with unpainted nails. Lifting Uruha’s hand higher, Reita dipped the brush into the varnish and concentrated on painting Uruha’s nails with the bold black polish. “I love how your tongue pokes out like that,” Uruha said, sighing as he smiled at Reita-still intensely observing the bassist’s facial expressions.
Glancing at Uruha, Reita smiled with a light blush and said, “I don’t notice.”
“That’s what makes it so adorable. And you’re so painfully cute when you blush like that,” Uruha cooed, his brow furrowing as he aww-ed-causing Reita’s blush to deepen.
“Leave me alone!” he whined as he continued applying color to Uruha’s nails-his face contorted with deep concentration.
“Quit being so cute and we have a deal,” Uruha proposed, chuckling.
“But I’m not even doing anything on purpose!” Reita complained, dipping the brush into the bottle and applying the final touches to Uruha’s nails and then screwing the top back on the bottle of nail varnish.
“Then you’re forever doomed to teasing,” Uruha said with a laugh, which transformed into a gasp as he examined the finish product of his manicure. “What the hell did you do to my nails, Reita?!”
“I-I painted them! You asked me to!” Reita said, his voice shaking with nervousness and confusion.
“I wanted you to paint my nails not my entire hand!”
“Well next time you want to hold my hand, why don’t you just say ‘Reita, will you please hold hands with me?’ instead of begging me to do girly things with you!”
“Reita will you please hold hands with me?” Uruha asked, reaching for Reita’s hand.
Quickly swiping his hand from Uruha’s reach, Reita retorted, “You’ll mess up your nails!”
Uruha let out an indignant laugh as he cried, “At this point, anything done to my nails would only help the situation!”

A/N: I don't really like writing drabbles, but I really wanted to write something and I struggled with a oneshot -_-; So, both of my drabbles have New Found Glory song names as titles. I really dislike New Found Glory, in case you hadn't noticed XD
