if it carries on then tell them they can go fuck themselves and go find somewhere else to stay. they should realise your doing THEM a favour by letting them rent YOUR house, and that you have a house to run and yourself to look after. they really should be way more supportive. im sure if it were other circumstances and they were to rent from someone else, they would be paying ALOT more.
dont let them take advantage of you.

yeah i was gonna say that, if you were trying to make a lot of money out of it like a business, you could charge loads more for the house you've got. when my brother was living in student accomodation last year i went with him to look for places, and they were charging more for some very questionable living conditions. it'll all pan out :-) you'll see.
