The meteor shower was so beautiful. I usually don't get to see things like that, I'm usually in the middle of a show or some sort of promotional appearance during the evenings, and then I have to head straight to bed to be up for morning practice. This was so incredibly beautiful. I can't even describe it.

No. Either I didn't have time or I wasn't invited. Sometimes both.

I'm not going to disagree. I've always been jealous of the kids that get to have them.

Your mother didn't want you to be happy?

That wasn't it, really...I think she just knew that I loved the diabolo and performing, so she thought that the more I performed, the happier I would be. And she was right, up until the world championship. After that, it was more work than fun, and I think she just didn't understand that when I tried to tell her.

But... she did want what's best for you.

I think she did, yes. It's just hard to tell when I hardly ever get to see or talk to her.

I've been to parties before! Thousands of them! Just not birthday parties, that's all!

I've never really been to any myself. Why no birthday parties?

I was just always too busy. Also, when you travel around as much as I did, it makes it hard to make friends, especially when most of your peers are so competitive.

You don't appreciate your parents enough. Some people don't have them to get the option of missing them.

Everyone has parents, even if they don't know them. And I do appreciate them, when they're actually around instead of just sending me off by myself for months and months at a time without a word.

Not everyone, some people have creators, like dolls or stories. Of course I had parents. They are dead.

Rosetta has NO idea how to respond to that

Rosetta, I was telling some of the other performers, sometime next week we're going to hold a parade to get more people interested in coming to the circus.

Hooray! I haven't been in a parade in forever!

Ooh, I'm glad someone's excited about it. We need to start preparing.
