after viewing the most ridiculous crock of shit in football history, i am even more unwilling to go back to SC in a couple days. hope it's hard for texas to sleep at night knowing that they won by three only because the refs granted them a touchdown in the first half that clearly was not valid-- zillions of instant replays and announcer consensus ( Read more... )

All good things must come to an end. You just aren't used to seeing your football team lose, I could wish UConn was nearly that good at football.

In any case, at least you have nice California weather to go back to!

If you're not busy Friday I'm going to try to wake up early enough and call you!

Cheer up! We should hang out when you come back to SC, what building do you live in? I live in Cardinal Gardens, you should come over, my roommates are awesome and we can do some cooking together or something creative of that sort

the horns were averaging like 8 yards a play that drive. if vince is down at the 11, they're three plays from the td at the most. by giving ut the early touchdown, it allowed sc to score themselves, to take the halftime lead. it's not like the play happened on the texas ten, they were on the sc ten.

also, sc led by twelve with five minutes to play. a bad call in the first half is no excuse for blowing that lead.

besides, sc2005 was not even close to one of the best college football teams in history. at least five teams from 2005 could easily beat them. if you wanna talk about bad calls, talk about leinart being pushed into the endzone to slip by a very mediocre notre dame team. a very mediocre notre dame team that exposed the sc defense. in fact, any of the 02-04 sc teams could've beaten this 05 squad. they were nothing more than hype, a weak conference and reggie frickin bush.

btw, how're you?
