Please sign the petition, http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Iraqi-Employees/ asking the government to grant the Iraqis who worked as interpreters for the UK army asylum in the UK.
Because having endangered someone's life by your actions, it is simply good manners to provide them with a measure of safety.

i've just spoken to carina -- she went to the hospital (manchester royal infirmary near the uni) and they need to keep her in tonight as there is a lump apparently that they can see. they don't know what it is, it could be the appendix, it could be a cyst etc so they will either operate tonight or tomorrow morning.
she wanted me to let you know and thank you for james's contact details -- if you see her gwen, please give her my love, i can't be there tonight and said i'd make it tomorrow after work but she doesn't want me to come. not sure-- i'll probably come regardless but, you know...
