That said, Nym IS going to kill you. As a matter of fact, even I might have to kill you and hell, this is RIGHT up my alley. XD;; It's just...not the way you think everything is and not the way it's SUPPOSED to be and argh, at the risk of sounding like a 13-year old girl denied the possibility of a first real date because of her parents, it's just not FAIR.

I wish I was OMG SO KOOL!!11 that there would be a tag labeled "Devi/Lori/whatever name she goes by this week is going to kill me". But it would probably have to be something...absurdly happy. XD;;

I read "Warm December" back in the day, and DAMN, sometimes I actually think that story's worse, because - for Ed, especially - what happened to him was pretty much WORSE than death. Like, it was a sacrifice he totally wouldn't regret making, but there was a sort of bitter injustice in the way it had to end. I dunno. They both hurt, but in their own OMG OW MY CHEST RECEPTACLE!!! :( kind of way.

This tale certainly had me going, loving it, and then, at the end - oooh no.
