God damn. *trump'd!* Not what I expected, but SO MUCH BETTER THAN THAT. If your aim was to make me feel slightly ill, then you've certainly succeeded. This was dark and depressing and everything that anything COULD have been had not the dice fell in JUST that way.

Just...damn. Why the hell aren't you writing for a living?

... too lazy to finish angel/demon lesbian story or the mage story or the utterly scary and sex filled parody-ish story?

And thank you! I was hoping the eighteenth kiss scene would be scary.

It was one of those things where I just COULDN'T TELL HOW IT WAS GOING TO END, and it really did make me feel kind of sick with worry. I like that you're focusing on the side of Guy that the fandom sometimes seems to forget. He was one scary-ass motherfucker not too long ago.

Also, I'M ALL FOR ANYTHING SEX-FILLED. D'you keep your orig writing on LJ?

Oh boy... this is wonderful ;_;
Guy scares me... really he does... but he breaks my heart at the same time. The way he is torn between wanting to kill Luke and caring for Luke... must be a pretty hard feeling...

I always think that Luke is a miracle himself, no really, everyone around the little kid wants him dead in some way (Van, Guy, even his dad and uncle), and Luke beats against all odds and manages to live *rolls eyes*

*nods frantically* Guy is a wonderful character to explore. And yes, hee, Luke.

Thank you!

So many nice fanfics posted tonight. XD
I really loved this one, Guy intrigues me with how maturely he handles himself. But I guess one always wonders if he's really thinking something else deep inside. I've always pondered just how Guy managed to put up with taking care of both Lukes, having to care and play with them as if nothing ever happened to him.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is how Guy really was and that's what makes him so interesting.

That aside, this is well written and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I really liked the 'eighteen kisses' bit. It was quite cute. :D
Thank you for posting this!

Thank you! It's interesting to go and see how Guy's feelings changed from "Kill Luke" pre-game to "Protect Luke" during game. Plus, I highly doubt that Duke Fabre would have been so stupid not to see that this kid that just joined his household looks a lot like the family he slaughtered in Hod...

I always thought he was aware because he knew that sword in the manor was Guy's in that Gardios Blade sidequest. Either that or I'm recalling incorrectly.
Which would make it that much more...eerie because he then knowingly let him around Luke. :o

Eerie is good. Eerie means more fodder for me.

♥♥♥

This is awesome. :D Although, y'know? When Luke said "tuck," my mind totally replaced that with a completely different four-letter word XD
