I'm in this guitar class, see.
It's great, I love it, and I'm learning a shit-ton.
But there's this guy. No, not like that. I'm not that gay. At least not for him.
ANYWAY.
He spent a year or so at MI. So, he's pretty damned skilled. The thing is, this is a beginner's guitar class. A lot of the people in the class have never played a guitar, ever. ( Read more... )

I tried to take guitar lessons when I was younger, and System of a Down's Chopsuey! was like their big single. I admitted to the guy that I didn't know what I wanted to play but I listened to everything from rap to techno, jazz to metal--something like that, okay? I DID say "metal", for sure. And the guy starts nodding alot and cuts me off and goes, "So you wanna play like System of the Down."
"Well, no," I said, but he wasn't listening. Anyway, I feel like that guy and this guy are... the same guy.
