That camera on your phone may bring a whole new meaning to the phrase "eyewitness accounts" in New York City. IOn Wednesday, the Big Apple announced that it has upgraded its emergency 911 and information 311 systems to accept photos and videos

I was wondering when somebody was going to enable that. I thought it would take a few more years (governments, you know...).

Bloomberg has gotten NYC gov out of the dark ages, technologically. It would be nice to have him for another four years, but he's term-limited @ 2010.
