When I was in 2nd and 3rd grade, my best friend was Jean Cole. She was wonderful fun to hang out with, and we'd climb trees and plan dramatic productions and all sorts of good stuff, mostly over at her house after school. (And then I moved halfway across the country, and we tried to keep in touch but y'know how it goes
