I have been spending way too much time in thrift stores lately. I was going to post. I had something about painting my nails, and I remember I had something important to say about carbs and the vast quantities of them I can't seem to stop consuming and I'm pretty sure one of the kids said something amusing, but honestly I don't remember any of it.

Yesterday was a snow day, again with no snow. And not all that much ice, either, which is why I had to go in to work. It wasn't so bad because about half the company worked from home and I got a lot done. I was sad about not getting to try the potato bread again, though ( Read more... )

So, Friday we got a SNOW DAY. Only, it didn't snow, just rained, and then froze. We had lots of ice on the outside of the house and lots of people on the inside of the house.
