so I've really thinking (obsessing) alot lately about home and family and whatnot... I'm REALLY REALLY homesick........ i think this is the longest I've gone without seeing my family.... maybe when I was in texas i went this long I dont remember i spent one xmas in texas and not with the family...... but anyways.... Oh honey...Cheer up. As much as it seems like you're missing people here, you really aren't missing too much. Sure, you might not be up on the latest trends or seeing everyone, but you are hands down having a better time than any of us are right now ( ... )

I'm just trying to give you some advice. I don't mean to disregard how you are feeling right now, or anything. Homesickness sucks, and everyone does through it. Let me know if you are still feeling bummed out. Stay well.

ok ok I'm kidding. We miss you too. Don't worry, I'm sure you know you are cool to us! Hope you enjoy Japan, and I will be there soon!! In the meantime I think it's awesome that you are doing what you're doing and totally living what most people only dream of... plus I think it's awesome that you aren't doing the whole fam, 2.7 kids, white picket fence and whatever the rest of the sheep are doing. My life is non-trad too, and I like it!! So have fun! I'll call you on sunday! In the meantime, get in the kitchen and make me some pot pie.
