† The Church
The Church dominates the center of the City. It can be seen from anywhere in the City itself, and is rumored to be visible even from the top of the Staircase. The Church is headed by a mysterious and enigmatic Preacher. He acts benevolent enough, but what are his intentions?
† Ricky's Bar

† The Nightclub, Inferno

From the outside, the old bar doesn't look like much. Just a bar, probably full of lowlifes.
But those who have been here awhile know the secret - it's so much more.
The bartender sullenly guards the dark paneled walls, letting only those who are knowledgeable enough to see the truth into the back rooms.
The rooms turn into hallways.
The hallways turn into tunnels.
Down, down, down, into the underground of the City they lead, becoming narrower as they go.
At the bottom, a metallic door opens into the Underground world that begins here, in the Nightclub.
All the guilty pleasures anyone every could have dreamed up are available here - for a price, of course.
Sometimes the prices are simple - money.
Sometimes, the prices are steep - souls.
The patrons of the Church are allowed special privileges here. More pleasures than they know what to do with, one might say...
† The Garden
At last, a breath of fresh air!
Beauty is in abundance here, reminding anyone lucky enough to enter the garden of what peace can actually be.
Do be sure to steer clear at night, however.....

† The Cemetery
The Cemetery is certainly one of the less pleasant places that the Doors lead to.
Full of wandering ghosts and the occasional zombie, it's not exactly a fun place to be.
There is no daylight here, only darkness. The howling of the wolves from some nearby locale is almost enough to chill you to the bone.
The Mausoleums are ancient and starting to crumble, but their Doors hold fast.
It is said that these are different than the other Doors here - that they lead to somewhere much better, away from even the Stairwell.
It's a shame that no one ever seems to reach them with their sanity in tact...
† The Abandoned High School
An old, run down school. The steps are overgrown with weeds, and there is a truly ominous feeling to this. The Chem Lab is still chock full of chemicals, though. Enough to blow up a City, even.
Make sure you don't open any of the lockers if you're unlucky enough to be here, however. Who knows how long they've been stuck shut...
† The Parks
Abandoned by those who had lived in the City before, the parks and its inhabitants have all withered away. No animals live in them, and its vegetation has run over the paths, nearly covering them.

† The Central Area
The central area serves as the plaza for meetings, festivals and events. The Pagoda can also be located in this area. Inside the Pagoda is a small garden… relatively normal, or so they say.
† The Neighborhood
A bunch of old, abandoned houses, complete with picture-perfect picket fences line the lower area. The upper part is filled with abandoned shops, work left unfinished.
It looks like this must have been a lovely place to live once upon a time. It also looks like whoever used to live here left in a hurry, leaving everything behind but the food.
What on earth could have made them all leave?
† The Tenements
Apartment complexes. There are six of them. They are abandoned, crumbling buildings that make for crude living quarters. It's possible that for a price, some of them could be reinforced to feel more habitable inside, despite the outside appearance.
† The Warehouse District
Every industrialized city has one. A place where the warehouses are lined up along filthy roads like large looming shadows. A place children shouldn't play, for even in the weak light hours, they are foreboding. Crime Lords hideouts, booby traps, company storage facilities.
It appears some of the homeless have taken up residence in the abandoned ones.
